“Doublecrossed is a psychological thriller that drops you in the middle of an intense relationship which turns disturbing after several months. As the blissful honeymoon phase fades, the protagonist’s concerns grow for whether she knows her lover at all. Laury Egan’s descriptions will place you in the thick of Alex’s world, wondering what will happen next. Be prepared for this story to burrow in your mind and set up shop. It will linger long after you finish reading.”
“Doublecrossed: Alexandra Wyatt believes she has finally met the woman of her dreams in Marnie Hardwick. That is until Marnie’s behaviour changes and small things are not adding up for Alex. Doublecrossed takes a dark turn when Alex’s past invades her present and places her life in jeopardy. Sit back and hold on tight as this disturbing psychological thriller spirals deep into the depths of abhorrent human behaviour you will not soon forget. I received an advanced review copy from Desert Palm Press and I am leaving this review voluntarily.”
