After graduating from Arizona State University in 2018 with a broadcast journalism degree, Emily moved to Los Angeles to pursue a career in writing and the arts. Her original screenplay, PURLIEU, was placed as a semi-finalist in the 2019 San Francisco International Screenwriting Competition. This past year, she completed her first LGBTQ+ novel, inspired by her time spent on the Côte de Lumière. Currently, she works as an assistant to a producer in the film industry.
